Superhero competition winners

Well done to everyone who entered our Sculpt us a Superhero competition, we loved seeing all the superheroes and their amazing powers!

We asked you to Sculpt us a Superhero to display in our classroom, so that you could inspire other children to reuse and recycle their waste, and we weren't disappointed.

In fact, we were so impressed with the entries that we chose two first prize winners!

Year 6 at Reay Primary School, Lambeth, created Recycle Rebel, who now has pride of place in our recycling classroom, showing everyone the power of recycling.

The art club at Larkhall Centre for Autism created Octobot who can help clean the rivers and oceans! He is now ready to greet our visitors as they enter the World of Waste here at Smugglers Way. You can see him at the top of this page.

Our runners up were Eva from Year 1, Stockwell Primary School, and Year 4 from St Jude's Primary School in Herne Hill.

All our winners receive an Arty Party for their class, run by the Work and Play Scrapstore as part of their prize, and we hope they have a great time!

Thank you to everyone who entered, we loved seeing all your superheroes!
