5. I think the majority of children gained a good understanding of the Assembly content that covered:

- the waste hierarchy (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)(Required)
- how the waste hierarchy applies to food waste (only taking what you need, planning, using food waste bins)(Required)
- why food waste is a problem (bad for the environment, distribution and financially)(Required)
- the amount of energy, land and water required to make food (grow, process, transport etc)(Required)
- how we can eat in a way that is better for us and better for the planet (by choosing fruit, vegetables, beans, legumes and pulses while reducing meat and dairy)(Required)
