Microwaves

Please place all microwaves, regardless of condition, in Bay B.  Staff will sort the microwaves into those that are suitable for Reuse and those that should be recycled.

Reuse

Rework, a reuse project operating at the Smugglers Way Household Waste and Recycling Centre, accepts microwaves.  Details of the project can be found here.  The microwaves are repaired, if needed, and then passed on to charities for resale.

Recycle

If Rework staff  do not feel your microwave is suitable for reuse, it will be passed for recycling.
