I wanted to write and thankyou for the amazing tour that Deborah gave us at the site on Friday. We all thoroughly enjoyed the visit and learnt huge amounts. The children have returned to school so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about what they can do to help look after the environment and how to reduce their waste. .. As a teacher I was greatly impressed with the links to all the KS2and KS3 curriculums. I particularly loved the viewing windows that gave us such an insight into the workings of the centre. It was so exciting for everyone to see where exactly our waste goes to.

I wanted to thank you and let you know that the feedback from teachers was that all the children really enjoyed the workshop and were really engaged with the superhero activity they did. Thank you so much.

The feedback I’m receiving from the attendees has been excellent and I hope we can (if possible) undertake tours on a quarterly basis as this will add real value to those involved in the circular economy around recycling.

I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for the great tour of Smuggler’s Way for my students. They learnt a lot and it put their Circular Economy learning into perspective very effectively. For most of them, this was the first time they observed a waste management operation, and of course this was eye opening. Thank you for the work you do in educating people about the recycling process and the resource sector.
