Help schools understand where savings could be made through conducting pupil led food waste audits and surveys.![]()

Provide educational sessions for pupils on the social and environmental consequences of food waste and how we can tackle it.![]()

Encourage the school to correctly use food waste recycling infrastructure.![]()

The children across the schools made pledges to reduce food waste, tasted smoothies made using bruised fruit, invented recipes using older or wonky fruit and vegetables, made campaign posters and planted microgreen seeds in reused juice cartons.![]()
